Every Year since 1999 the global communications industry has come together to celebrate the best in every sector, and in 2008 we will mark a decade of recognising excellence.

The World Communication Awards (WCA) is widely recognised as the most trusted and global industry event of its kind in the communications industry. Over 600 influencers and decision-makers, CEOs and senior executives will gather in a spectacular evening ceremony and gala dinner to witness key industry players being awarded for their contribution to the industry during the preceding year.

The communications industry is marked out by continual change, the WCA provide a well-established, international platform for companies from every sector to promote their achievements and advancements this year.

In 2007 the awards attracted over 250 entries via a marketing campaign that reached in excess of 100,000 high level telecoms professionals. The gala dinner is the highlight of the awards programme; for 2008 this will be held at the Hilton on Park Lane, London on 26th November.

Who attends?

The gala evening is the highlight of the annual programme, attended by up to 600 senior telecom executives. In 2007 almost 80% of attendees worked for operators and more than 65% were director level or above. The global power of the WCA was demonstrated by over 30% of the audience in attendance being from outside of Europe, and a significant proportion of the European attendee’s were from Russia & the CIS, eastern European countries and Scandinavia.

The Sponsorship Packages

Almost all categories are offered for sponsorship by one organisation at a choice of levels. The level of participation reflects the degree of exposure you benefit from pre, during and post event.

All printed promotional materials for the WCA including brochures will be clearly branded with sponsor's logo reaching an exclusive and targeted database of executives within carriers and industry vendors as well as blue chip enterprise corporations through online and direct mail.

The levels of involvement for sponsorship of an award are Diamond, Gold, Silver (standard level) and category. We also offer other opportunities including Associate sponsorship and feature sponsorship, including the post dinner bar and webcast.
